MCJUNKIN, aged 76 years, died Tuesday morning, March 22, 1921 at his late home on Hastings avenue, Oakdale. Mr. MCJUNKIN was born in Washington County, near Centerville and when about 4 years of age, moved with his parents to Allegheny County, where he spent the remainder of his life. His boyhood days were spent on his father's farm. On December 22, 1869 he was united in marriage to Miss Ada M. JOYNER. In 1877 they moved to Pittsburgh, where Mr. MCJUNKIN established the famous MCJUNKIN Dairy company, which he conducted for about 30 years. After selling his interest, the McJunkin Dairy and Reick consolidated, which is now known as Reick-McJunkin company. Mr. MCJUNKIN was a faithful and active member, also an elder in the Second Presbyterian church of Pittsburgh. He became interested in the Welfare of the Chinese of the City and often on Sunday afternoon he and Mrs. MCJUNKIN would have one or two of them come to their home, where they were taught the Word of God. From Sabbath to Sabbath the interest and membership grew until it was necessary for larger quarters, and they then became affiliated with the Second church. Today Mr. MCJUNKIN's name stands out as the founder of that large Chinese Sabbath school, which is still in existence. Under the teachings of Mr. and Mrs. MCJUNKIN many Chinese accepted Christ and became faithful members of the church. Mr. and Mrs. MCJUNKIN came to Oakdale about five or six years ago, and were members of the Presbyterian church of which his brother, Rev. J. M. MCJUNKIN was pastor for 27 years; he being an elder. He was vice president of the Boys' Industrial Home and superintendent of the Boys' farm. Mr. MCJUNKIN has been in poor health for the past year. In August he underwent an operation in the West Penn hospital, and for a time it was thought he had been greatly benefited, but the past twenty weeks he has been confined to his bed. Many times friends felt the end was near, but he would rally and for a time all felt encouraged for his restored health. The town has lost a good citizen and the church a faithful worker. Mr. MCJUNKIN was always doing for some one; he was always looking out for the poor and needy, and he could truly say "it is more blessed to give than to receive." His life was on that was an example for all. He was a friend to everyone and loved by all the children. He leaves his wife, and a brother, G. C. MCJUNKIN, of Beaver. The funeral services were held on Wednesday evening at 7:30 in the Presbyterian church, conducted by his pastor, Rev. W. D. LEWIS, assisted by Rev. J. G. PATTON, of Neville Island, and Rev. MCMUNN. The choir sang three selections, favorites of Mr. MCJUNKIN's, "Saved by Grace", "Nearer My God to Thee", and "Sometime We'll Understand." The burial was Thursday morning at Plum Creek cemetery, New Texas, Pa.
