He was a riverman in hi young manhood, living at Elizabeth and later removing to Milllin Township. During the Civil War he served in the Eleventh regiment, Pennslyvania volunteers, an in an engagment received a wound from which he never fully recovered. The last seven years he spent in the soldiers home at Dayton, Ohio, leaving there two weeks ago. He is sirvived by his wife and nine children. For years Mr. McMichaels was active in the politics of Mifflin Township. Additional Comments: Born: July 7, 1837 Mifflin twp.
