from The Pittsburgh Press dated Sunday, February 14, 1897  (page 7):

Mrs Mary A McMILLEN, wife of James N McMILLEN, for many years a member
of the central board of education from the Minersville district, died
Friday afternoon at the family residence, 347 Atlantic avenue.
Deceased was the mother of Miss Belle S McMILLEN and Miss Mary
McMILLEN, both well-known teachers in the Sterrett schools,
Twenty-second ward.  The funeral services will be held at her late
residence, at 2:30 pm tomorrow, the interment being private.

Mary A McMILLEN, aged 55 years 2 months 28 days, married, died
February 12 1897, progressive chronic paralysis; daughter of Samuel
and Isabella, both of Ireland; born in Ireland; lived at 347 Atlantic
Avenue; burial in Allegheny Cemetery on February 15 1897.
