Rt. Rev. Msgr. Jerome L. McQuillen   
 
ALTOONA, PA.,. July 2, 1946

The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Jerome L. McQuillen, 73, pastor of Sacred Heart Parish of 
Altoona, died Monday following a six-weeks' illness.  A native of Pittsburgh, 
he had served churches in Altoona, Johnstown, Dudley, Cresson, Huntingdon, Lock 
Haven, and Lilly.  The Monsignor received his education at St. Charles College, 
Ellicot City, Md., and Mt. St. Mary's College of Cincinnati.  He is survived by 
a sister, Mrs. Lucy A. Burns, of Pittsburgh.
