from The Pittsburgh Press dated Thursday, August 30 1888  (page 5):

Ann McTIERNAN, daughter of the late John McTIERNAN, died at her home,
No. 2 Ashton street, Allegheny, on Monday, aged 43 years.  The funeral
took place this afternoon.  Interment at St Mary's cemetery.
