Adam Meinert, aged 79, retired farmer, died yesterday from general
debility at his home, Sixth and Penn Streets, Sharpsburg.  He was born in
Germany and came to this country in 1848 and located on a farm in O¹Hara
Township.  Fifty-one years ago he was married and he is survived by his
wife and eight children, three of the daughters being in convents.
Funeral service will be held at St. Mary¹s Roman Catholic Church at 9:30
Saturday morning, the interment being at St. Mary¹s Cemetery.
