Mrs. MILLER was born at Walkers Mill and has lived in this vicinity all her life, for a time residing at Carrick, Noblestown, Oakdale and Sturgeon. Mrs. MILLER was 63 years and 10 days old the day of her death. For a number of years past she has been a great sufferer, having undergone seven operations. She was a member of St. Patrick's church, Noblestown, also a member of the McAbees (sic). She is survived by her husband, Anthony MILLER and eight children as follows: W. J. MILLER, J. D. MILLER and Mrs. Albine NIX, all of Sturgeon; Mrs. E. T. MCKISSICK and Mrs. G. W. WACKER, of Oakdale; H. J. MILLER, of Sawtelle, Cal.; Mrs. E. T. ERICKSON, of Indianapolis, Ind., and C. W. MILLER, at home; also one brother, L. SCHACKE, two sisters, Mrs. Andrew NIX, of Altwater, Ohio, and Mrs. Emma SCHNUTH, of Castle Shannon Pa. Funeral services were held Monday morning in St. Patrick's church, Noblestown, conducted by the Rev. Father Cox. The body was laid to rest by three of her sons, two sons-in-law and a brother-in-law. Mrs. MILLER was of a quiet retiring nature but in health was always ready and willing to render a service when needed. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the community in their hour of sorrow.
