Pittsburgh Post Gazette - June 16, 1859
DIED-In the city of New York on Monday evening last, Mr. Montrose Mitcheltree, 
aged 62 years.
His remains have been brought here for interment in the Allegheny cemetery.  
His funeral will take place this day (Thursday) at 3 o’clock from the 
residence of his son-in-law, Mr. James Patton Jr., Federal Street, Allegheny 
City. The friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend.
