MOWRY died very suddenly in his late home, 162 South Linewood avenue, Crafton, early Wednesday morning. While in poor health for the past year or two, he was able to be at work Tuesday, in the Joseph Horne store, where he was employed as floor-walker. Previous to his being there he was for a number of years associated with the Boys' Industrial home at Oakdale. His work was on the farm where he was a master hand in the care of the boys and they looked to him with great respect and honor, and under his Christian life and influence, many of the boys accepted Christ and have grown to be noble men. During his stay at Oakdale Mr. MOWRY was a member of the Presbyterian church and a faithful worker in all its branches. Funeral services were held Saturday morning in Carnegie U. P. church, of which he was a member. The body was taken to Steubenville for burial.
