John R. O'Keefe, an attorney here for 50 years, died yesterday in Mercy
Hospital. Mr. O'Keefe, 82, of 2698 Middle Road, Hampton Twp., was a former
treasurer of Epiphany Church, 1018 Centre Ave., Uptown, a member of Draft Board
No. 1 for 25 years and a graduate of Holy Ghost College (now Duquesne
University) and its law school. Surviving are two sons, John R. Jr. and Thomas
A.; two daughters, Mrs.. Regina Dadey and Mrs. Joan Stein; and 24 grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a. m. Monday at the Joseph M. McAvoy Funeral Home, 1700
Forbes Ave.,. Uptown. Mass will he at 10 a. Tn. Monday at Epiphany Church.
Burial will he in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lawrenceville.
