  Robert E. Parsons, 70, died Saturday, July 18, 1998, at Northwest Memorial 
  Hospital, Chicago, Ill.
    Born July 14, 1928, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Herbert E. 
  Parsons and Saidee Gregory Parsons.
    Mr. Parsons was a self-employed insurance auditor with Parsons Associates.  
  He was a veteran and former treasurer for the Western Pennsylvania Insurance 
  Auditors Association.
    Survivors include his wife, Joan Saviers Parsons; two sons, David and Dale 
  Parsons, both of Valencia; two daughters, Joyce Mastrilli of West Grove and 
  Jill Snyder of Mars; and eight grandchildren.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred 
  Parsons.
    Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Schellhaas 
  Funeral Home, 5864 Heckert Road, Richland.  Services will be held at 2 p.m. 
  Wednesday in Gospel Fellowship Church, Valencia.  Burial will be in Lakewood 
  Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Indiana Township.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Gospel Fellowship Church Choir 
  Fund, 161 McFann Road, Valencia, Pa. 16059.
