PATTERSON, cashier of the Duquesne National bank, died yesterday at her home, 646 Fifth avenue. On Thursday night she fell down stairs and received the injuries which resulted in her death. Mrs PATTERSON had been an invalid for a number of years. She was 45 years of age and leaves three children. from The Pittsburgh Press dated Saturday, October 26 1889 (page 7): A like verdict (accidental death) was found in the case of Mrs Alexander PATTERSON, who died last night from the effects of a fall down stairs at her home on Seneca Street Thursday evening. from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records: Margaret Jane PATTERSON, aged 44 years, married, died October 25 1889, fracture of skull; born in PA; mother from Ireland; lived at corner of Seneca Street and Fifth Avenue, 14th Ward; burial in Allegheny Cemetery on October 27 1889.
