Pope, 84 of Duquesne died yesterday in Forbes Hospice, Pittsburgh. A retired milkman from Meadow Gold Dairy and retired Security Guard from Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh, he was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish and former member of St. Joseph Church, both in Duquesne. Born in Duquesne, July 5, 1912, he is survived by his wife, Zella Orris Pope; children, Jean Pope-Boyle of Rochester, N.Y., Gerard (Skip) Pope of Los Angeles, Calif., and Barry Pope of San Bernardino, Calif.; two grandchildren; sisters, Laura Gazda and Theresa King of West Mifflin and Frances Molenda of Burke, Va.; borthers, Lou Pobojeski of Aurora, Colo., and Stanley (Sky) Pobojeski of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the St. Hedwig worship site by the Rev. Dennis Colamarino. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin. No visitation is scheduled. Arrangements are in charge of the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home, Inc., Duquesne. The family has suggested memorial contributions to Forbes Hospice, 6655 Frankstown Road, Pittsburgh, PA, 15206; or Christ the Light of the World Window Fund.
