The many friends in McDonald of the Rev. Wm. H. REED, who has 
been a missionary in Egypt for many years, will regret to learn of the death 
of his wife in the Wilkinsburg hospital last Friday. Mrs. REED came on from 
New Concord, Ohio, where her children are attending school, to attend the 
New World Movement Congress in Syria Mosque. Taking ill she was removed to 
the Wilkinsburg hospital where she died. Mrs. REED was a daughter of Rev. 
J. W. GROVE, for many years pastor of the United Presbyterian church at 
McConnellsburg, Pa. She leaves four children, the oldest Faith, is a 
student in the medical school in Philadelphia and the three younger ones are 
all students in Muskingum College at New Concord, Ohio.
 
Rev. REED went to Ingleside Academy in McDonald and lived the 
earlier ears of his life on a farm near Burgettstown where the family are 
well and favorably known.
