from The Pittsburgh Press dated Wednesday, December 11, 1901 (page 2):
 
Mrs Martha J HERRIOTT REYNOLDS, wife of James H REYNOLDS, died
yesterday at her home, 1602 Center avenue. Mrs REYNOLDS was a
daughter of the late Captain James HERRIOTT and was born and raised in
this city. Deceased had lived in the Eighth and Eleventh wards for 30
years. Mrs REYNOLDS is survived by her husband and one son, Harry H
REYNOLDS. Mrs REYNOLDS' death was sudden and was caused by heart
disease.

Martha Jane REYNOLDS, aged 64 years 4 months 13 days, married,
housewife, died December 10, 1901, of heart failure; daughter of James
and Katherine HERRIOTT; born in PA; lived at 1602 Centre Avenue;
burial in Allegheny Cemetery on December 13, 1901.
