Mrs. RICHARDS was quite aged and for many years has been living with her daughter, Miss Kathryn RICHARDS. Her death was quite sudden for she had been in excellent spirits for some time, although an invalid. Funeral services were held in the Noblestown M. E. church Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Interment was in the Oakdale cemetery. *Noblestown column Mrs. Elizabeth RICHARDS passed peacefully away at her home on Guy Hill, Oakdale, Sunday afternoon, February 26, 1922, at 3:40 o'clock. During Sunday morning she suffered with indigestion ad it was thought that this was what caused her death in the afternoon. She was preparing to receive communion from the Rev. MOOSE of the Methodist church of Noblestown, when she entered the Great Beyond. For the past 26 years she has lived in Oakdale moving here from Petrolia, Pa., Butler County. Fifteen years ago her husband departed this life and since that time she and her daughter Katie lived together. She was born in Cornell, England and came to this country many years ago. Mrs. RICHARDS was a member of the Methodist church of Noblestown and was known to all the people as "Grandma" RICHARDS. The funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon in the Methodist church of Noblestown, conducted by the Rev. MOOSE, pastor of that church. She leaves to mourn her loss four children, Katie, with whom she lived; Mrs. Lyda WIDGER, Chicora, Pa., Butler county; Mrs. Anna NICHOLS and Mr. John H. RICHARDS, both of Johnstown, Pa. The entire community express their sincere sympathy in their recent bereavement. Interment was made in the family lot in the Oakdale cemetery.
