A solemn concourse of friends awaited at the Union depot last night for the 8:30 train, which brought the remains of Mr. J. A. Riley from South Carolina. Mr. Riley was for a number of years previous to his leaving the city, about six weeks ago, connected with the firm of Armstrong Brothers, cork manufacturers. The deceased had suffered from consumption, and was advised by his physician to go to Aiken, S.C., where he died, last Tuesday. The remains were taken to his late residence on Webster avenue. Funeral from the residence of his aunt, Mrs. Hays, No. 35 Webster avenue, Pittsburgh, on Saturday afternoon, April 20, at 2 o'clock. Friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend.
