All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/allegheny/ ________________________________________________ Taken from McDonald Pa Outlook 02 Mar 1922 Mrs. Phoebe RODGERS died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John CASE, in Fanny street, Sunday morning, February 26th, at 7:30 o'clock. Mrs. RODGERS was probably the oldest person in McDonald, being 97 years of age on the 29th day of last January. She was born in Yorkshire, England and came to this country when she was four years old. Mrs. RODGERS is survived by five children, Harry, of Emie Run, Pa.; Joseph, of Fayette City; Mrs. Mary CARL, of Sturgeon; Mrs. Hannah WILLIAMSON, of Midway, and Mrs. John CASE, of McDonald. There are thirty-eight grandchildren and eighty great and great-great grandchildren. Of these eighty-nine survive. Funeral services were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. CASE, on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. B. B. HARRISON. Interment was in Robinson's Run cemetery.
