EX-COUNCILMAN PASSES AWAY

   Former Councilman Theodore T. Ross, aged 67, one of the best known 
residents of Tarentum, died in his home at 527 East Ninth avenue early this 
morning after a lingering illness.
   Mr. Ross was a plasterer and was engaged in that business for many years. 
He was a member of the First M. E. Church.
   He leaves his widow, Annie Fleming Ross; one son, Freeman; two daughters, 
Mrs. John Archer, of New Kensington and Mable Ross at home.
   Funeral services will be held in the First M. E. Church Sunday afternoon at 
2 o’clock conducted by the Rev. B. F. Crawford. Interment will follow in the 
Freeport cemetery.
