The Pittsburgh Press Sat Apr 17 1948 
Bernard H. Stumpf, owner of the Stumpf Coal and Coke Co. of Wilkinsburg, died
yesterday. His home was at 513 McNair Ave., Wilkinsburg. A lifelong resident of
Wilkinsburg,   Mr. Stumpf was in the coal and coke business for 20 years. He was
a member of Wilkinsburg Elks and of the Knights of St. John.
Mr. Stumpf is survived by his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Weaver Stumpf three sons,
Bernard Jr., Edward and William Stumpf; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Campbell and
Mrs. Theresa Boney, and three brothers, Joseph, Harry and John Stumpf. High mass
of requiem will be sung at 9 a. m. Monday in St. James Roman Catholic Church,
Wilkinsburg, with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Friends are being received at
the Knee Funeral Home, 512 Rebecca Ave., Wilkinsburg.
