from The Pittsburgh Press dated Wednesday, March 4 1896 (page 9):
 
Mary SANKEY, aged 57 years, wife of William SANKEY, died yesterday
afternoon at the family residence on Mission street, Twenty-seventh
ward. The funeral services will be held at the Eighteenth Street M E
Church, South Side, at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon.
 
>From the City of Pittsburgh Death Records:
 
Mary SANKEY, aged 57 years, married, died March 3 1896, apoplexy;
daughter of Edward and Ann WORTHINGTON, both of Wales; born in Wales;
lived on Mission Street near Sterling Street; burial in South Side
Cemetery on March 5 1896.
