Mrs. Mary ADAMS SHAY died at her home in Sewickley on Friday, 
January 6, 1922 after an eleven months' illness of tuberculosis. Mrs. SHAY 
was born in McDonald, August 31, 1889 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Milton ADAMS of Valley street. On June 19, 1912 she was married to Mr. 
Dwight SHAY of Sewickley. Besides the husband, four children survive: Mary 
Velm, Tresa Scott, Robert Dickson and Betty May SHAY. Also her parents, Mr. 
and Mrs. Milton ADAMS of Valley street, two brothers, George of Woodlawn, 
Jefferson of Coraopolis Heights, and two sisters, Mrs. David ROBERTS of 
Black Rock, Oregon and Mrs. Ruth HAMMERLY of McDonald R. D. 3. Funeral 
services were held at her late home in Sewickley on Sunday afternoon. 
Interment was in Robinson Run cemetery.
