SINGLETON, which occurred in Independence, Kansas, on Wednesday evening, March 29th. The SINGLETONS resided in Third street, McDonald for a number of years. Mr. SINGLETON is a well known oil man, and was an expert nitro-glycerin shooter for years, working in the various oil fields. Mrs. SINGLETON is survived by her husband and one daughter, Bessie, the wife of Ross CAMPBELL, of Nowata, Okla. A son, H__ert, was killed in a nitro-glycerin explosion about three years ago.
