Lincoln SYKES, of Johnstown, died at the West Penn Hospital from
injuries received at Dravosburg while crossing the railroad. (under
an article titled, Echoes of the Night)
 
 
from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records:
 
Lincoln SKYLES, age 35 years, married, brakeman, died June 7, 1897, in
West Penn Hospital, injured on Pennsylvania Railroad; son of John and
Nancy SKYLES; born in Indiana County PA; burial in Johnstown PA
cemetery on June 8, 1897.
