Pittsburgh Post Gazette - March 21, 1872
SMITH-At his residence, Long Run, Versailles township, on Tuesday morning, 
March 19, 1872 at 6 o’clock, Rev. J. M. Smith, aged 65 years.
The funeral will arrive at the Connelsville Depot, on Thursday morning at 10 
o’clock, to proceed to Allegheny Cemetery for interment.  The friends of the 
family are respectfully invited to attend.

Rev. John M. Smith is interred in Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh, 
Pennsylvania, Section 3, Lot 23/24
