Snyder Hempfield Township Charles A. "Buck" Snyder, 71, of Hempfield Township, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, in his home. He was born March 20, 1939, in Penn Township, a son of the late Michael A. and Lotti Harvison Snyder. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by National Aluminum in Murrysville. He was a member of AA and a former member of the Lions Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Gene and Donald Snyder; and a sister, Dorothy Avery. He is survived by a son, Jason C. Snyder, of Penn Township; two brothers, Michael Snyder, of Export, and James Snyder, of Hempfield Township; five sisters, June Long, of Santa Rosa, Calif., Mary Tutolo, of Arnold, Patricia Wilburn, of Latrobe, Marilyn "Babe" Shook, of Natrona Heights, and Natalie Gilmore, of Harrison City. Friends will be received 9 to 11 a.m. Monday in the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth G. Zaccagnini officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
