SNYDER was a car inspector, and, while under the cars making some repairs, received the injuries that resulted in his death. The body was removed to the morgue. from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records: Conrad SNYDER, aged 51 years, married, car repairman, died July 28, 1903, in West Penn Hospital, shock / struck by train on PRR; son of William and Margaretta SNYDER, both of Germany; born in Germany; lived at 6939 Susquehenna Street; burial in Hebron Cemetery on July 30, 1903. According to 1900 census, wife is Madaline with children Charles, Frederick, Mary, Susan, Lee, George, Sarah and Ethel.
