from The Pittsburgh Press dated Tuesday, July 28, 1903 (page 7):
 
Conrad SNYDER, 47 years old, of 6939 Smallman street, died at the West
Penn Hospital this morning as a result of injuries sustained at the
East Liberty station of the Pennsylvania Railroad last night. SNYDER
was a car inspector, and, while under the cars making some repairs,
received the injuries that resulted in his death. The body was
removed to the morgue.

Conrad SNYDER, aged 51 years, married, car repairman, died July 28,
1903, in West Penn Hospital, shock / struck by train on PRR; son of
William and Margaretta SNYDER, both of Germany; born in Germany; lived
at 6939 Susquehenna Street; burial in Hebron Cemetery on July 30,
1903.
 
According to 1900 census, wife is Madaline with children Charles,
Frederick, Mary, Susan, Lee, George, Sarah and Ethel.
