from The Pittsburgh Gazette dated Saturday, September 13, 1902:

STEPHENS - On Friday, September 12, 1902, at 6:30 am, Edward STEPHENS, 
son of Kate MEGAFFIN and grandson of Nathaniel and the late Mary E SEESE, 
aged 22 years 10 months. Funeral services at his mother's residence, 
No. 3931 Liberty avenue, on Sunday, September 14, 1902 at 2 pm. Friends 
of the family are respectfully invited to attend. Interment private later.
