  Leslie E. Stone, 74, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 1994, At Passavant Hospital, 
  McCandless.
    He was born Sept. 21, 1919, in Jackman, Maine, son of Frances Dutelle Stone 
  and the late Ivan Stone.
    Mr. Stone worked for 20 years as a hospital administrator at Mercy Hospital 
  in Pittsburgh until he retired in 1985.  He formerly worked for National 
  Casket Co. for 23 years.  He was an Army veteran of World War II.
    Survivors include his loving partner, Eleanor Hendler; two daughters, Linda 
  Klapak of Greenfield and Barbara Alberth of Gibsonia; one son, Larry E. Stone 
  of Wexford; one sister, Thelma Stadler of Colorado; and seven grandchildren.
    Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Herbert R. 
  King Jr. Funeral Home, Route 8 and Woodland Circle, Allison Park, where 
  services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.  The Rev. Mary Burton of 
  Fairhaven United Methodist Church will officiate.
    Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Glenshaw.
