J M SYKES, a brakeman on the Pennsylvania railroad, was fatally
injured at Walls station. (under an article titled, Echoes of the
Night)
 
 
from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records:
 
John M SYKES, age 40 years, married, brakeman, died on September 18,
1891, crushed on PRR; son of Thomas and Mary SYKES, both of England;
born in north of England; lived in Pittsburgh; burial in Manor Station
Cemetery on September 20, 1891.
