Oscar Brashear Torrence, aged 49, son of former City Treasurer David R.
Torrence, died Friday at his home, 1444 Center street, Wilkinsburg. He was born
in Paducah. Ky., and he lived in Pittsburgh nearly all his life. He was
connected with the Colonial Trust Company. Besides his father, he leaves his
widow, Mrs Nellie Edna Babcock Torrence; a brother Robert Torrence. of
Pittsburgh. and three sisters; Mrs. F. R. Kenny, of Washington. Mrs. W. E
DuBarry, of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Dr. H. C. Hieber, of Pittsburgh.
