(under an article titled, Accidents Fatal to Three) from the Allegheny City Death Records: Richard THOMAS, age 38 years, married, railroad brakeman, died October 6, 1902; son of John & Bridget THOMAS; was born in West Virginia; lived at 114 McKain Alley; buried in St Mary's Cemetery on October 9, 1902. Found on the 1900 Allegheny County PA census with wife Jean and children Mary, Margaretta, Georgina, Sarah, and Ruth. Found in previous years in Wood County, West Virginia.
