Miss Eliza was born April 25, 1848 in Ireland, coming to this country with her parents when she was a very young child. For a time she resided in Battle Ridge, South Fayette township, but for the past twenty-eight years has been a resident of Oakdale, living with her sister, Mrs. Mary CAMPBELL of Hastings avenue. Miss Eliza expressed a beautiful Christian character in her devotion, in the home in her Master's service, in all the organizations of her church, and the community round about. Miss Eliza, when in health, was faithful in her attendance to her church, the United Presbyterian, of which she was a member. Funeral services were held in her late home on Friday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. R. MCMUNN assisted by Rev. W. R. JAMISON of Pittsburgh and Rev. W. D. LEWIS of the Oakdale Presbyterian church. Many beautiful floral pieces brought their messages of comfort to the bereaved sister, Mrs. Mary CAMPBELL, the only near surviving relative. Among a large number of nieces are the Misses Mary G., Jennie E. and Anna WALLACE, who reside in the CAMPBELL home. Interment was in the Robinson Run cemetery.
