WELSH was 55 years of age, married, and lived at No. 19 West Carson street. He lived only a few minutes after he was hurt. (under an article titled, Lives Crushed Out) from The Pittsburgh Press dated Tuesday, November 30, 1897 (page 8): Jeremiah WALSH died yesterday at his home in Painters Row, West Carson street. He was 60 years of age. (under an article titled, Gathered to Rest) from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records: Jeremiah WELSH, aged 60 years, married, millworker, died November 29, 1897, crushed on the P & LE Railroad; son of Mart and Mary WELSH, both of Ireland; born in Ireland; lived at 15 Painters Row, West Carson; burial in St Mary's Cemetery on December 1, 1897. Census and city directories suggest that his wife was Mary with known children John, Martha, Richard and Elizabeth. Frank WEAVER, age 29 years, single, railroad brakeman, died August 1, 1891, crushed by a ---- on the 10th street railroad yard; son of Jacob and Mary Jane WEAVER (he from Carlisle PA, she from Pittsburg); born in Carlisle PA; living near the Penn street yards, 4th Ward; burial in Hilldale Cemetery on August 3, 1891. Hilldale Cemetery is now part of Union Dale Cemetery.
