Wiese, who was president of the German National Bank of Allegheny, and one of its founders, is dead at her residence, 1102 Sheffield street, North Side. She was a daughter of the late George Lappe, a pioneer tanner of Allegheny county. Mrs. Wiese is survived by 10 children. They are Mrs. R. E. Hammer and Gilbert F. Wiese, of Philadelphia; Mrs. C. C. Hax, Mrs. E. W. Locke, Charles F. Wiese, Robert E. Wiese, Mrs. E. C. McGraw, Mrs. George Fischer and Mrs. Harry M. Griffith, all of Allegheny, and Mrs. George Flaccus, of South Negley avenue, East End. There are 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
