PITTSBURGH (AP) --- A man and woman married only three weeks were killed when a tractor-trailer truck cab landed on top of their car after a grinding collision. It took 90 minutes to pry open the flattened car and remove the bodies of Oren WINEBERG, 60, and his wife Mary, 59, of Natrona. The car and the truck, which was loaded with steel, collided at the intersection of Route 28 and Bailies Run Road in suburban East Deer Twp. Tuesday. Both veered across the highway and clipped down a power pole. The truck driver, Walter HIMMIGER, 37, of Bunola, Allegheny County, was treated for shock. Two sister radio station WYDD and WKPA, were knocked off the air for 20 minutes because lines carrying their power were jerked apart. The WINEBERGs were married April 22 and were on a house-hunting trip. Traffic on heavily traveled Route 28 was tied up for four hours. Additional Comments: Orrin C. WINEBERG, born: 07 Sep 1907, Indiana County, PA; s/o Aaron Rishel & Josephine Lorena (FRANTZ) WINEBERG. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
