All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/allegheny/ ________________________________________________ from The Pittsburgh Commercial Gazette dated Thursday, November 10, 1898: Horace A WINTON, son of Rev H B WINTON, formerly president of Lutheran missions in this district, died Tuesday night at the residence of his brother-in-law, G M EITEMILLER, of the Western Union Telegraph Company, at 309 Grant avenue, Bellevue. Mr WINTON was for some years employed as a salesman in the silk department of Boggs & Buhl and Jos Horne & Co and was well known to many of their patrons. For the past six years he has been a sufferer from consumption. He leaves a wife (nee Winnie MITCHELL) and a son 5 years of age. WINTON - At 10:45 Tuesday night at the residence of his sister, Mrs G M EITEMILLER, No. 309 Grant avenue, Bellevue, Horace Albert WINTON, son of the late Rev H B WINTON, aged 28 years, 6 months and 17 days. Funeral services at residence at 1:30 pm Thursday. Interment private at a later hour.
