A freight train ran off the track, causing the almost complete demolition of the engine and two stock cars, tearing up the track and ties for several rods,, instantly killing the engineer, Hogarth Wolf, and maiming & killing several fine beef cattle. The remains of Wolf were taken to Pittsburg, where his family, consisting of a wife an one child, resides - for interment. Democratic Standard, Hollidaysburg, Pa., Wednesday, November 12, 1862
