All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/allegheny/ ________________________________________________ Taken from McDonald Pa Outlook 17 Jan 1924 On Saturday morning, January 5, 1924, at 2:30 o'clock, Ella Margaret, daughter of Clyde L. and Margaret SESLEY WRIGHT of Western avenue, Oakdale, Pa., passed peacefully away after a lingering illness of nine months. Ella was born March 19, 1910 at Gregg, Pa. and was in her fourteenth year. She was a member of the United Presbyterian church and a devoted reader of her Bible. She was active in the Junior organizations of the church prior to her illness and was also a member of the Eighth grade of the Oakdale Public school. Ella had a large host of friends who will greatly miss her beautiful smile and friendly way. During her long illness she was very patient and always had a smile and a cheery word for every one. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful, expressing the esteem and affection in which she and her parents are held in this community. *portion cut* Besides her parents she leaves two sisters, Mary Louise and Dorothy Elizabeth and one brother, James Clyde. The funeral was held at her late home on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. W. R. MCMUNN, assisted by the Rev. W. D. LEWIS. Interment was in the Oakdale cemetery. The bereaved family have the deepest sympathy of the entire community in their sadness.
