Michael Zimmerman
Michael Zimmerman, aged 75, a well known resident of Plum township, died 
Wednesday at his home in New Texas. Mr. Zimmerman was born in Patton township, 
near Turtle Creek, in 1833. When he was a young man he removed to Penn 
township. He had been a resident of Plum township for 30 years. He leaves one 
son, Edward Zimmerman of Plum township, five daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Gratten 
of Homestead, Mrs. Martha Grubbs of Ohio, Mrs. Crete Berlin of Wilkinsburg, 
Mrs. Ferguson of Swissvale, Mrs. John Clemens and Miss Josephine Zimmerman of 
Plum township, one brother, John Zimmerman, and services will be conducted 
from his late residence tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock.

Additional Comments:
This obituary is fraught with errors; Michael's date of birth according to his 
Certificate of Death is shown as 8 January, 1834, his brother's name was 
William Zimmerman of Patton township, his daughter Elizabeth was married to 
John R. Bracken.
