Two men witnessed the accident (saw the street car hit William) and took William to the hospital. When they got there, he had died. So the hospital told them to take him to the morgue. When they got to the morgue, the police were waiting and arrested the two men thinking that they were the ones who had hit William. They were released shortly thereafter.
