 In the Name of God, Amen.  I, Thomas Beaty, considering the uncertainty of this
life, being weak in body, but of sound mind and memory (blessed be to God for the
same) do make and publish this, my last will and testament, thereby revoking all
former wills by me made, in manner and form following.

To wit: I will that all my just debts, as shall be owing by me at my death,
together with my funeral expenses, and all charges touching the proving or
otherwise concerning this, my will, shall in the first place be duly paid and
satisfied, and from, and after payment thereof and subject thereunto, I give and
bequeath the farm on which I now reside, consisting of about one hundred and six
acres with the appurtenances thereon thereunto belonging, surrounded by land of 
John King, Jacob Alter, Youngs heirs, and others all together, with all my
worldly goods and chattel to my nephew, William Beaty (who is now, and has been for
some time past living with me snd taking care of me), his heirs and assigns forever.
 I constitute and appoint the above William Beaty  executor of this, my last will
and testament.  In witness whereof, I have hererunto set my hand and seal this
twenty first day of September 1843

Signed, sealed, published and declared  by the above named Thomas Beaty to be his
last will and testament in the presence of us, who at his request, and in his
presence, have subscribed our names as witnesses.
