Biggs late of Mifflin township. decd. No. 256-Vol 3. Filed May 26, 1831 Page 2 In the Name of God Amen. I William Biggs, of Mifflin township and County of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, being in bad health, but in perfect mind and memory, thanks be given to Almighty God, calling to mind the mortality of my Body and knowing it is appointed for all Men, Once to die, do make and ordain this my only and last will and testament, that is to say principally and First of all I give and recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty god that gave it, and my Body to the Earth, to be buried in a Christian burial Ground_ at the discretion of my much beloved Mother_ Nothing Doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the Almighty power of God, that gave it and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I Give and bequeath as follows, I do hereby bequeath the entire of my right of all that Lot and Section of ground contained in the Oreland, containing fifteen Acres left to me by my father, to my dearly beloved Sister, Mary Ann Mowry who shall the use of the same Owing her natural life, for her own and exclusive use and privilege, and I also will that at her deceased the same shall fall unto the possession of my younger brother, Aaron Biggs. And I do now appoint the said Mary Ann Mowry my full Executrix to this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof, I have hereto Set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of May A. D. 1831 One William Biggs (his mark) (seal) Signed Seal and delivered in the presence of Henry F. Johnson (signed) 17th May 1831 Mary Biggs (signed) 17th May 1831 Susan Mowry (signed) Allegheny County, on the 17th day of May A. D. 1831 personally appears before me, John M. Snowden, Register, do in and for said County, Henry S. Johnson and on the 26th day of May A. D. 1831. Also personally appeared before me, John M. Snowden, register do. As aforesaid Mary Biggs, two of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing will who being severely solemnly sworn according to law did depose and say that they were present and saw and heard William Biggs, the testator sign, seal, publish, pronounce, and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament and that at the time of so doing he was of perfect and sound mind, memory, and understanding according to the best of their knowledge, observation, and belief.
