Will Book 8, No. 117

In the name of God amen I Margaret Jordon
Being of Sound Mind and memory but weak in body
Doth make this my last will and testament as follows,
I bequeath to my Son James Jordon four dollars and I
Bequeath to Margaret Jordon four dollars and 
I bequeath to Margaret Gibson Late Margaret Zimmerman
My Bed & beding and I bequeath to Elizabeth Zimmerman
Late Elizabeth Jordon the remainder of all my house hold
furnature and also one hundred Dollars in Money and also my
wearing apperel and after My funeral expenses ar paid by my
Executor I bequeath to the above Elizabeth Zimmerman all the
Residue of my assets that may be in Money or property and I
Revoke all former wills by me Made I constitute and appoint
Henry Chalfont to be my Executor to Execute this my last will
Given under my hand and seal this tenth day of april one
Thousand Eight hundred and fifty five

			Be it known that on the 14th day
of July AD 1855 personally came before me C. Noble,
Dep Registery in and for said county John Groves
and Robert S Johnston two of the Subscribing
witnesses to the foregoing instrument of
of writing who being duly Sworn and depose
and say that they saw and heard the testatrix
Margaret Jordon Sign publish and declare it as
being of and for her last will and testament
that at the time of so doing she was of
sound mind and disposing memory
to the best of their belief and observation
that in her presence and at her request
they signed their names as witnesses
thereto,
