Typed copy completed September 17, 1991 by Commissioner Lawrence W. Dunn's office of Allegheny County Pennsylvania. Spelling is as is according to the original Will. Original Will is in very fragile condition. 2. Original Will makes no mention of Edward and Nancy's first born who was a daughter named Sarah and who was born just prior to the battle at Lexington in 1775 when Edward and Nancy first settled in what later became Allegheny County. 3. Edward's land is referred to as "Groton". This is first noted on both the Plum and Penn Townships Land Patents recorded in the late 18th Century. Edward's original land laid astride a branch of what was known as Plumb Creek and consequently his property appears in both of these two townships. The original patent was to Samuel Cunningham for 263 and 1/3 acres. The Warrant was dated July 1, 1784. It was surveyed November 12, 1784. It was patented to Edward McGlauglin on February 11, 1791 as "Groton". 4.
