I John MEANOR of Moon Township in the County of Allegheny & Commonwealth of Pennsylvania being advanced in years and finding my bodily strength fast decaying but of sound mind memory and understanding Blessed be god for the same and considering the uncertainty of this transitory life, Do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following to Wit principally and first of all I recommend my immortal soul in the hands of Almighty God who gave it and my body to the earth to be Buried in a decent and Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors herein after named and as touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to Bless me in this life I give and dispose of the Same in the following manner. To Wit. I do order and it is my will that all my just debts and funeral expences be fully paid & satisfied. And as touching all the rest of my Estate real or personal Of what kind or nature the same may be I give devise and bequeath the rest as followeth. To Wit. To my son Benjamin I give devise and bequeath all that tract or piece of land on which I now reside in Moon Township on the following Conditions to wit that my said Son shall not sell the said Land during the natural life of his Mother my Beloved wife Mary and also that he the said Benjamin shall and will justly & Truly pay to my other Legatees as I do now order hereafter to be granted and paid to wit to my Beloved wife Mary. I do grant and order that shee shall have at her disposal the whole of ;the Estate during her natural life, providing she remains my widow, excepting nevertheless the liberty to the said Benjamin of disposing of So much of my Personal property at my death as Shall enable him to pay off all the demands that may come against him in Consequence of this my last will and Testament. To my son David I give and Bequeath one hundred and fifty dollars in addition to the horse creature Saddle and Bridle he now owns to be in full & in lieu of his part of my Estate. to my son John I give and Bequeath one hundred & fifty dollars to be in full and in Lieu of his part of my Estate. To my son Isaac I give and bequeath one hundred and fifty dollars to be in full and in Lieu of his part of my Estate. the foregoing amounts of money to be paid the one mostly within two years after my decease. and the other to be paid within two years after the [faded] my beloved wife Mary. To my daughter Elizabeth Scott in [faded] use of her son John SCOTT to be paid to him at the age of twenty one years I give and bequeath twenty one dollars to be in full and in Lieu of her part of my Estate. To my daughter Esther MEANOR for the alone use of her son John MEANOR to be paid to him the age of twenty one years I give and Bequeath twenty dollars to be in full & in lieu of her part of my Estate. To John MEANOR junior son of my Son Isaac MEANOR I give & bequeath twenty dollars to be paid to him at the age of twenty one years. And lastly I nominate Constitute & appoint my son John & Benjamin to be the Executors of this my last will hereby revoking all other wills legacies & Bequests By me hereunto made and declaring this and no other to be my last will & Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my and and affixed my seal the Sixth day of September AD 1814. Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Testator as his last will and Testament in the presence of us who in his John MEANOR seal presence and at his request have subscribed as Witness.
