Last Will and Testament of Mary Ann Maury
 I Mary Ann Mowry of the Borough of Birmingham in the County of Allegheny and 
State of Pennsylvania, widow, being of sound mind memory and understanding do 
make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making 
void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
 And first, I direct that my body be decently intered in the "Methodist 
Episcopal Burying Ground", in Lower St. Clair Township, County and State 
aforesaid on a lot to be purchased by my Executrix hereinafter named, and that 
my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate and situation 
in life.
 As to such estate as it has pleased God to entrust me with, I dispose of the 
same as follows, viz.
 Item. I give give devise and bequeath to my daughter Susan Marks the sum of 
twenty-five dollars.
 Item. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Martha Dean, the house and 
lot in which I now reside, situate in Borough of Birmingham, County and State 
aforesaid on the corner of Coal Hill Street and Perry Street.
 Item. I give devise and bequeath to my son Alexander Mowry the sum of one 
dollar.
 Item. I give devise and bequeath to the Methodist Episcopal Sunday School of 
the Borough of Birmingham, the sum of ten dollars.
And as touching my household furniture and the rest, residue, and remainder of 
my estate, real personal and mixed of whatsoever kind or nature the same may 
be, and wheresoever the same may be at the time of my death, I give devise and 
bequeath the same to my said daughter, Marth Dean.
 And lastly, I nominate, constitute, and appoint my said daughter, Martha Dean 
Sole Executrix of this my last will and testament.
 In witness whereof I Mary Ann Mowry, the Testatrix have to this, my will 
written on Two pages pf foolscap paper.

Set my hand and seal this Thirtieth day of November A. D. on thousand eight 
hundred and sixty-one.

Signed, Sealed, Published, and declared by the above named Mary Ann Mowry as 
and for her last will and testament, in presence of us, who have hereinto 
subscribed our names as witnesses thereto, in the presence of the said 
Testatrix, and of each other.

Be it known that on the 20th day of July A. D. 1864 Before me Register of 
Wills and for said county came A. B. Stevensin and Wahsington Beck, two of the 
subscibing witnesses to the foregoing testament of writing who being duly 
sworn, depose and say that they were present and did see and hear the 
Testatrix. Mary Ann Mowry, sign, seal, publish and declare the same as and for 
her last will and testament, that at the time of so doing  she was of sound 
mind and disposing memory to the best of their knowledge and belief; and that 
in her presence and at her request they subscibed their names as witnesses 
thereto.

Given under my hand the 20th day of JulyA. D. 1864. Wm. J. Richardsen, 
Register (signed) 

And now, July 20, 1864. The testimony of the foregoing witnesses being 
sufficient I do hereby admit said will to probate and order that the same be 
registered.
