Being in perfect mind and memory and colling to mind the mortality of man and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, I James Snodgrass Sr. of the township and county aforesaid by this my last will and testament devise my estate in the following way and manner viz-- Item 1st. -- I have and bequeath to my son Alexander Snodgrass one hundred and fifty dollars. Item 2nd. -- I have and bequeath to my son James Snodgrass two hundred dollars to be paid to him in the following manner, one hundred in cash and one hundred by delivering to him a note which I hold against him for one hundred. Item 3rd. -- I have and bequeath to my son William Snodgrass one hundred dollars. Item 4th. -- I have and bequeath to my granddau. Jeanne Snodgrass, dau. to Alexander Snodgrass twelve dollars. Item 5th. -- I have and bequeath to my granddau. Jeanne Snodgrass, dau. to Thomas Snodgrass twelve dollars. Item 6th. -- I have and bequeath to my granddau. Nancy Snodgrass, dau. to James Snodgrass Jr. thirteen dollars. Item 7th. -- I have and bequeath to my sons Thomas, John and Samuel Snodgrass to each of them ten dollars. And I do by this will and testament appoint as my executors Samuel and Alexander Snodgrass, my sons to act as such on the same and also by this my last will and testament make void all other wills of mine of a prior date to this, given under my hand and seal this day six of April 1813.
