Thompson of Moon Township County of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, in manner and form following, hereby revoking any will or wills heretofore made by me. First, I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid and satisfied, as soon as conveniently may be, after my decease. Second, I direct all my personal estate to be appraised and divided equally among my seven children and if any of my children do not choose his or her share in kind therein it is to be sold by my executor and the proceeds divided. It is my desire however, that they divide amicably if it is possible. Third, as to my real estate situate in Moon Township, County and State aforesaid, I devise it to my three sons, Harry Thompson, Edward Thompson and William F. Thompson in fee; they shall pay to George W. Thompson One hundred dollars; one hundred dollars to Sarah Alice Thompson; One hundred dollars to Mary Emma Anderson and one hundred dollars to Ellen St. Clair Burns and I charge these said several legacies on the farm devised to Harry, Edward and William F. Thompson until paid. The said Harry , Edward and William F. Thompson are to have three years in which to pay said legacies, but to pay interest on them. Fourth. I enjoin on my said three sons, Harry, Edward and William F. Thompson to keep the said farm in their own names for at least ten years as the land will not likely decrease in value in order that it may be reunion place for all my children to meet from time to time to keep alive the family ties. Fifth. The insurance money on my life, when received shall be equally shared by all my children. Sixth. I nominate and appint Noah W. Shafer as executor to carry this will into effect.
