Gentlemen: We propose to furnish and erect the following work upon the Laundry bldg., viz- The Galv'd iron cornice, conductors and ridge capping on new part, the I x 28" old style tin gutters, flashing and cap flashing for new and old part complete, also I C old style tin roofing on new porch and repairs on old roof in rear, tin to be painted before putting in place for One Hundred Ninety Seven Dollars. $197.00. We also propose to take off the upper face of old cornice "so carpenter can repair wood gutter lining" and replace same for twenty seven dollars. $27.00. Or, we will take off all the old cornice and replace with new, for $69.00. We recommend taking off all the old cornice and replace with new, as it is in very bad condition and it only makes an additional cost of $42.00. Note- If you conclude to have us do this work, please let us know soon, so we can make a full side plan of cornice for your carpenter showing how wood work is to be prepared.
